Councilmember Chris Kerrigan is a fourth-generation Eureka resident. His grandfather is the late Judge Banducci, and his uncle, Louis Bucher, was Superintendent of Humboldt County Schools. Chris has always attended local schools, including St. Bernard's. Chris is a strong civic leader in the community, including coaching youth basketball and volunteering with the Heritage Society. Councilmember Kerrigan is Chairman of the Board of the Redwood Regional Economic Development Commission. He is also Mayor Pro-Tem of the Eureka City Council. Councilmember Kerrigan is currently finishing his degree in Political Science at Humboldt State University. He is working his way through college by painting houses with the family business and working as a private consultant on community issues and bond initiatives.
